The project "EU Support for Internal Market" (EU4IM), in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal and External Trade of the Republic of Serbia and the EU Delegation to Serbia, has implemented a national campaign marking World Consumer Rights Day 2026, under the umbrella message EU standards in the service of the citizens of Serbia.
The goal of this integrated communication campaign was to strengthen consumer confidence, raise awareness of rights, and promote a market based on safety, transparency, and European standards. The campaign ran from mid-March to early May 2026.
The central event was held on March 13, 2026, at the European House in Belgrade, attended by representatives of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Delegation of the European Union, relevant institutions, civil society organizations, the business sector, and the media.
During the campaign, TV commercials were broadcast on the Radio Television of Serbia (RTS), while billboards with educational messages were displayed in Belgrade, Novi Sad, and Niš. Additionally, radio jingles focused on consumer rights were aired on the Naxi Radio.

Promotional articles providing information on consumer rights during online shopping, as well as details regarding the "Do Not Call!" register, were published on the most-read web portals in the country.
At the European House premises in Belgrade, Niš and Novi Pazar, citizens had the opportunity to visit an exhibition dedicated to consumer rights and participate in an interactive quiz. This activity further ensured the successful achievement of the campaign's main objective - educating citizens about their consumer rights.
